the perfumed plains from which it gets its fame, full of a varied and
seductive charm. This is an old city of Provence, where the Latin influence
is particularly perceptible in the architecture, because of important
exchanges between the cities of Pisa and Genoa.

free guided visits : Fragonard, Galimard or Molinard. Also a city
of agreement, Grasse offers to its guests the International Rose
Exhibition ("Expo-Rose") every May and the Jasmine Fest
every August. A city of culture, Grasse has five museums : the International
Museum of Perfumery, the Provence History and Art Museum, the Fragonard
house museum, the Admiral Memorial Marine Museum of Grasse and the
Provence Jewellery and Costume Museum.  inally,
Grasse is one of the youngest city of the country, and the principal
industrial centre of the Côte d'Azur, which produces 2/3 of
the French natural aromatic production, for the food industry as
well as for the perfumery industry. Grasse is today the main centre
worldwide for perfumery, with a turn-over of 3 billions Francs.
